Versailles Philharmonic Quintet's bassist, Jasmine You, passed away on 9th Aug 2009 AND I got to know about it yesterday.

I can't accept the truth that he's gone. He's my current favourite bassist. His style, appearance, his personality & his actions, mesmerized me the first time I looked at him. He sometimes makes me smile and laugh. I'm not really into this band but I listened to their songs and watch their PVs. He's extraordinary.

When i surf the videos of Versailles yesterday, the word R.I.P Jasmine You, shocked me. Initially I thought it was a joke, then I googled. It's confirm he's already dead. I was so shocked. It's been 2 months but there's no news of the cause of his death. Today, I can't simply focus on my work, kept listening to Hizaki Grace Project(former band) & Sympathia. Philosopher nearly made me cry in the office. He was cremated by wearing his HGP dress.

Sources said that on Aug 3, he planned to take a break from Versailles, concentrating on nursing his health. But unexpectedly, on aug 9, he passed away. I read from Hizaki's blog, when he knew the news of his death, he screamed and shout in disbelief. It's hard to imagine how his family and the bandmates are feeling right now. Versailles now in process of " dunno what will happen". They will have a performance on Oct 25, first time without Jasmine You.

All day long, his face were in my mind. Purple and pink roses out there reminds me too much of him. In Versailles, he was one of the descendant of roses, and his one is purple. For first time, I saw his face without all those make up and costume, he still looks pretty and cool. I don't know why his demise this time makes me sooo depressed and sad. Because, when the vk world lost 2 talents previously, I didn't know them at that time. Hide & Kami, these 2 talented musicians, passed on long before Jasmine.

The thought of reading the blog stating that his last days, he was suffering so badly, I can't help but to cry. He got some requests, for some, he wanted to see the night sky of Yokohama & he took a cable car in Tokyo. For the night sky, they say, he couldn't stand up at all. Arranging for his funeral, I can sense that he's suffering from some illness. If ppl saw their recent Ascendead Master PV which released in June and Live performances 2-3 months before his demise, he's very genki. Too genki to spot if he's sick.

My passion is Vk theme rock. Whenever Versailles songs or HGP songs played in my mp3, I imagined myself with a guitar or a drum and tried to play like them. The passing of members in band help me to release how hard they have to cope the aftermath. Whether to have a temp bassist, recruit or disband. X Japan took like 10 years to actually recruit a new member, Sugizo. Malice mizer, just on hiatus. I don't want any unhappy incidents happened again in Vk world. I know for myself that Jasmine's dead and it hurts me deeply.

Now, some ppl hoping that Yu-ki~ take over OR become the new member. I wish for that too but for now, let's respect his place where he used to be. It's still burning with passion and ringing of his bass is still clearly heard. Hope that he's happy over there. R.I.P Jasmine You, you are truly an amazing musician.

Instead of goodbye, I'm gg to say thank you. Your music has became part of my life. Thank you so much.
